Tell me all about it, dear...

Hey, my husband sometimes just hangs back too and I get so irritated but most of the time he is the guy who is between me and the world. I think you did learn a big lesson on Thursday night and it wasn't all dance moves. Bless Mick for being willing to go to the class...

Inability to lead on the dance floor is very common for beginning male dancers. Do you guys ever switch partners? It really helps. That way, you both get to practice with more experienced dancers. Female dancers are expected to not move until the man moves. If the two of you stand still throughout a song or get off beat a few times, that's not nearly as bad as a busted lip, so I say relax and be the girl. He'll learn.

See, this is what I love about blogging. I now know I'm not the only woman who had to "man up" to take care of the family. Your anger toward Mike still comes through loud and clear - I think I'm going to go kick my husband in the ass now. heeheehee

I can SO relate. For example, there's a television sitting on the floor of our living room. It's been there for weeks, and will stay there until I do something about it. And I'm not the one who wanted a new TV. Grumble.

And you are?
