Tell me all about it, dear...

You are right on the money about doing the exercise you enjoy! This is why most people give up, they do what they think they should even though they hate it and then they give up. An exception does have to be made for the real "need to do" stuff like me and my biking to nowhere which I hate but is the only way to fix my busted knee. And I hear you on the butt thing, it's great to fix the bits you can! Hugs Bels

I think you probably should try to include at least a little aerobic exercise, but I suspect you already do - walking counts and so does housework, and so does dancing around the kitchen. if you don't want to run, don't, but do try to get moving every day or two.

Good for you, getting out there and giving it a go. I've found that doing something a bit strenuous really leaves me feeling calm. Your gym, may I say, sounds horrible!! I checked out the people at my gym after your last report, and have to say it's a different world. There's none of that wiping going on - maybe a brush over with a towel if you've been dripping sweat, but none of this sterilising at all, no sitting around doing nothing and little interest in what anyone else is doing. I still don't like that bit much though and stick to the yoga classes and the pool. Someting is in the post to you, but it will probably arrive too late for your actual birthday. Love love love xxx

Glad you made it to the gym again....wish I could say I was doing the same but I am not.....And congrats on putting on make-up...I manage the clothes every day but seldom the make-up and earrings any more.

I know what you mean about feeling better if you take the time to get dressed and made up, even if you're not going to leave the house. The same is true for me.

I do about a 45 min workout 3-4 days a week on average. I just feel better when I do it but sometimes even so I start making up excuses in my head for not doing it, and I do this at home! It evens out my moods, things just seem more manageable and I have a better outlook. I haven't lost any weight, really, but I feel better and I think I look better, but that might just be my rosier outlook talking.
