Leigh used to be a hoodie kid... with headphones to further block out the world.

I wore a hoodie yesterday but I didn't pull on the pockets until I looked like an alien. I must be old fashioned after all. Whew! Your entry cracked me up! Going to see Sherlock Holmes today. Thanks for the heads up!

I read someone else's blog who described Holmes much as you have....not as eloquently... but equal agreement on the theme. As for the hoodies...yes, Wolf must truly be a teenager now. My step-granddaugher does the same...they look so "tough" and sullen...just how they want to appear... I remember when my own son suddenly had a scowl on his face 24/7 instead of his cute dimple showing..

My totally-uncool-in-the-world-of-preteens husband wears a hoodie at times, mainly because his bald noggin gets cold. Unfortunately it is the Navy PT hoodie, which means that every sailor and his girlfriend owns exactly the same hoodie. I guess I should be thankful that it isn't foil designs of angels and demons and faux graffiti.

Wayhey! Guess what LA? DL seems to have decided I'm not a spammer at last. Prepare to be noted relentlessly! Happy New Year. Strangely both wifey and I have a hoodie. Mine is a GAP one, despite the fact that I'm about as fashion-conscious as Attila the Hun's granny. I inherited it from wifey when she dieted and lost weight (though she might be angling for it back now she's preggers.) Hers is a grey gang symbol type one that she inherited from one of our friends after he left it at a party at our place. So WE ARE THE HOODIE generation!!! Now where's that Bob Seger 8-Track?

And you are?
