Tell me all about it, dear...

"Grow up, you sorry cow" is the best line I have read all day! My hygenist is GREAT and I'm sure she would respect Valerie Bertinelli. I will ask her next time I see her.

my hygenist is secretly a russian dominatrix who enjoys inflicting pain with that weird little water jet. i don't know what she does with that thing, but it make my fillings whine like speaker feedback.

Your hygenist must be related to the dopes that are behaving in a similar way at the local market. Which flight are you taking.... I'll join you. Aids has to be better than this crap.

Waiting room TVs and jealous begrudgers... Ugh to them both.

Personally I think Valerie is as cute as a button and if she can look like that at her age, more power to her. People like the dental hygienist say things like that because they've heard other people do it and they think it makes them sound cool or something. I consider them ignorant and small minded and generally ignore them. She probably doesn't even realize that Valerie did not lose all that weight by simply eating some door-delivered food. There was a lot of hard work, discipline and exercise that went into it. I struggle with those 3 things on a daily basis. Three days in a row, so far, I've made the trek to the basement to get my flabby butt in gear because, as much as I wish gardening and housework would do it for me, it doesn't. I'm thinking it's like AA or something, one day at a time and maybe I can keep motivated instead of taking a day, or two or three off until I have to start all over again getting back to the point where it feels good.

So I am guessing that Kirstie Alley is her heroine? I like Valerie B. and I think what she has accomplished is wonderful. Would I like to have all the free food and consultations...sure I would. But Val had to work at getting that weight off and she did it ONE DAY AT A TIME. Just like we would have to do if we were as motivated. Look at Oprah, she has money for all those personal chefs and trainers and she regained it all too.
