Tell me all about it, dear...

Heh, you definitely don't want my advice. I painted my first duplex in 4 different shades of off-white!

I am totally into a green phase right now so I would only be able to chime in with my current favorite spring green.

And you don't have to have a bunch made up. They have those paint packets now, little plastic pouches that actually hold a fair amount of paint to cover a decent size square, or circle if your heart desires. If you do paint the green take a pic and post it, for as I said, I live vicariously through those who don't live with someone who refuses to admit green to the homestead's palette.

My mom went crazy with the intense colors at our house once all of the kids moved out. My old bedroom is a bright purple, with white trim, white curtains, etc, and it is BREATHTAKING.
Her room is orange, less successful, IMHO.

I've always imagined that your office to be a bright, electric blue.

I just painted my half bath a sage green. Looks great with the beige sink and oak trim. I am also painting my master bath a color called Yukon Gold which sounds kind of yucky, but actually is a warm, rich amber which also looks great with the beige sinks and wood trim. Good luck!

Years ago we had a half bath that we painted an electric blue and then put up those flower shaped things that used to go in tubs so you wouldn't slip....well...we put them up on the wall and it rocked!!!! Of course, that was in 1970!!!! but...hey...retro COULD come back...
Althought I mentioned green, I really see you more as a bright color like amber or tuscany red/orange...????

Check out a new paint company called Yolo. I don't know if they are available in your area, but they have great colors, and are very environmentally responsible. (Hope this isn't considered spamming - I have no connection to them other than loving their colors!)
