That's interesting. It's my tendency to believe that those who dislike cats are afraid of them, as well. I can't imagine anyone not liking a cat, unless it were out of fear.

It says miles about MIL that the kids take after her and not cranky FIL. Lucky for everyone else in the world that his nastiness did not get carried on. Glad you had a great day. We, having no other family here, went out for Chinese food at our local fave place and both sons were in attendance as the older broke up with his girlfriend a little while ago who would not eat seafood OR Chinese food so they would not join us for either. It was nice since we felt no energy for spending all day cooking up a huge meal for 4 people to eat in 30 minutes. And the bes thing? Spring break means I don't have to get up at 5:15AM for another week!!! Yay!
