Tell me all about it, dear...

You are NICER than advertised! I am so touched by your offer to come over and shovel me out. (Speaking of which, I've been at it three times already. Ouch.) Love you lots!

What I wouldn't give for a nice snow day. Just one.

As I've mentioned before, I grew up north of you where snow days were a regular part of winter. Here, not so much, we don't even get ONE a year here, it's so erratic, and then one year 4 days in a row when we had 37" of snow in one storm, go figure. But I remember well those days of being huddled around the radio waiting for them to announce my school district, Hudson Falls Central, always last, which made it that much sweeter when it finally happened. I could have lived without the week-long ice storm that knocked out the power for the whole week since we all had the overhead lines back then. Cocoa and cookies and sledding at the local sand pit.

Even if Mick was once a guy with a huge chip on his shoulder; he sure learned quickly how to drop the load and engage in some sweetness. You two sound more and more like you were just waiting for each other and thankfully, you found each other and didn't try to scare each other away

And you are?
