Tell me all about it, dear...

hey, I have those days too. Warren's favorites were always the Dr. Suess, that and Chicka, Chicka, Boom Boom. To this day I can quote from both in my sleep.

Chuck Norris does not do push-ups. He pushes the world down.

Wow, two bookstore runs in one day! I found a used copy of Mommies Who Drink, which my 14 yrd old thinks is hilarious, by the way, the title I mean. Even though I am WAY past being in this peer group,baby-wise, I am really enjoying it so far, especially the list of what she forgot about Cathy. These thoughts of hers are what most, or at least, many of us think, but never say out loud about mommy-hood. But, being a Mom who has to get up with the kid at 5:15AM each day, I fell asleep trying to read it last night so I haven't gotten past page 26 yet.

That's a shame about Alex. He may never like Mick but I would hope that he'd eventually come to appreciate that you are happy.

Penny got into a skein of mohair yarn I bought at Michael's on Saturday. She's lucky I didn't string her up with it!

I'm sorry you're having that emotional storm thing. I know how it is. Lucky you have Mick to comfort you. BTW... LA? Alex isn't too old for a can of whupass to be opened on his stupid butt. He knows exactly how much of a jackhole his father is and frankly Alex has no right to rain on your well-deserved parade. Tell Alex your friends say for him to put on his big-boy undies and deal with it. (grin) Big hug and much love. -me

I had no idea that Alex wasn't loving Mick--I'm so sorry, that must make things difficult. Children who are also adults but are also still children are a tricky bunch, at least around our house they are. But they seem to change frequently and thoroughly--Alex will come to his senses soon. Meanwhile, hugs from me, down here in the gloomy place where I spend most of my time now. I think about you even when I don't write and mean to write much more often than I do....but anywho....hugs, bye.

I'm sorry about Alex, I had no idea he was not a lover of Mick, that must be tough! I hope he comes around soon. Children who are adults but are also still children are a tricky bunch, at least they are around here. They do seem to change frequently and totally, hopefully Alex will change in this regard soon. I send warm wishes MUCH more often than I write them....Hugs, K
