Tell me all about it, dear...

Plus even at the most basic level, it's a pain in the neck to have to figure out dinner every nice. It's nice not to be the only one doing it.

This is why I have a hard time explaining to others how R and I fit so well together. Pizza can be a LOT more than just dinner; what a great illustration! *hugs you*

Here's to pizza, and to not having to do EVERYTHING any more!

I hear you loud and clear. I mentioned before I have a man, that given these circumstances would either cook it himself or at the very least make it OK for me to take a break and do the pizza thing. The other night, prime example, I was installing new light fixtures in our bathroom. I love doing this kind of stuff and he knows it, but it was taking longer than I had planned, as usual, as I had to patch some drywall. Voila, pork chops, rice and broccoli for dinner and all I had to do was show up. I'm glad you found YOUR Pizza Man, who always delivers, too.

It's NOT reading to much into it. It's representative of a new world order and good riddance to the old!

I get it. I totally understand that. It's the bringing you a cup of coffee in the morning before you even begin to open your eyes. It's the warming a bath towel on the radiator so you have a snuggly towel when you get out of the shower. It's the tinyest things that show he's looking out for and looking after you. And what makes it even better is when you realize that it isn't calculated. It's just a natural thing for him to do, this taking care of you. He really "sees" you and understands what you need before you can or have to articulate it. Woo! I'm so happy for you. Big hug and much love. -J

I hope all the real men aren't taken already..... Not that I am in the market at the moment but it would be nice to know they are not all gone should I start looking.... My current solution is being well served since A. and I eat as just the two of us most nights. I still have to come up with it but it is my choice without complaint.

It's those little things that make a huge difference!

Yesiree! It is not about the pizza - but what the pizza represents. Good for you!

Based on his demeanor when it came to trying to figure out what to have for dinner one evening (and yes there was pizza involved) I could tell right away that my sister's ex-boyfriend was a complete asshole. I think I was the only one not surprised (except her, maybe) when when he finally up and beat the shit out of her. I haven't commented in a LONG time, but I'm pleased that you've found Mick. It sounds like he makes you really happy!

Mine brought me coffee the same day I was working on the lights, but hey, that warmed towel thing sounds mighty nice. I have no radiator so he would have to improvise, but it sounds dreamy all the same.

That was nice. I remember the first time Terry asked me what we were having for dinner. My answer to him was, "I'm sure whataver you cook will be just fine." I was joking, of course. Terry and I share all the chores. It's nice to have a partner. I didn't find him until I was 41, so I know what you are going through with Mick. I love watching you guys. Terry and I are still there after 13 years.

My husband said tonight..."I hope you don't mind that I went ahead and made myself some balogna sandwiches while you were taking a shower so you didn't have to fix it for me" Mind? Hell,no!!!! But now, I am hungry for pizza!

It isn't the pizza, its the fact that your needs and wants are being respected, and your being treated as an equal instead of a servant with privledges. Respect tastes great with any toppings.

And you are?
