Heh. The Partridge Family. I think I have the lp somewhere in the basement with my original collection of Monkee's records (in Mono).

Hey Honey, the holidays tend to bring out the blah in most of us. Some are better at putting on a fake grin than others. I suppose some even enjoy the manic pressure to make the perfect holiday....... I imagine there was more than that to your funk. I sure know there is to mine. I'm glad to hear your are back up to speed though. Now once I get through this coming market week we need to have a little pow-wow. Smooch!

"downward slide toward 50" ? I think not! At 52 it's been all uphill from 45, really. As in uphill to see without my reading glasses, uphill to remember things from yesterday, uphill to keep up with a 14 yr old, but the good news is, you worry about inane stuff a lot less. I did not freak out about having the perfect holidays this year and enjoyed my own party more than I ever have when I would tally how many people came as some sort of meter of how much people actually liked me.

Nice to know that the black funk of funkiness has gone back into the closet. Sounds like you have been quite productive and happy to be that way. Hope you can sell the manuscripts, keep up the good work and believing in yourself again.

The muse is a fickle creature. And very disrespectful of one's self esteem as well. Glad you are on an upswing! Hugs Bels

You did NOT make me listen to the Partridge family. You did NOT give me visuals of Danny Bonaduce's then greasy looking hair. You did NOT give me ear worms that will play that song in a loop 1,249 times in my head before it goes away. And you call yourself a friend????
