Tell me all about it, dear...

he .. I had rubber soul playing in the jeep the other day and saw huge hip hugger flare bells in the mall. It's attack of the 60's. As far as my politics well .. I didn't fit so well back in teh 60's either. I'm more right wing than you but not exactly a republican. I believe in a social saftey net but not quite a leftist democrat either. I'm too moderate for either party I guess so I make some weird choices. For instance I don't understand what's so great about Obama. What does he stand for that's different or so exceptionally moral or going to improve my finanaces. I don't get his appeal at all. Maybe I should google him and study because I haven't seen anything he declares that is an issue he stands by and is his own solution. Huckabee though I totally agree with you. Have you heard the scandals about his kids? One hung a dog at summer camp.

Okay, I'm War, so if we can find Death and Famine, we can play bridge! (If I knew how to play bridge, that is.)

Well, if the Republicans actually pick Huckabee, it would make my decision easier in November. (The triumph of the toothless redneck vote?) Huckabee vs. Obama... I'd vote for Obama; he may be a bit of a light weight but he's certainly better than Huckabee. (Hell, I'd probably even vote for Clinton over Huckabee.)

So nice to wake up this morning with the radio singing the tune of Obama's triumph in Iowa. I like him, though I'm nowhere near deciding whom will get my vote this coming November. I'm just happy the Demo race is a thrilling one with good choices for a change.

I bet Oprah will be gloating on her next live show about "making Obama a household name"...not to mention getting him closer to the White House. I don't dislike him but still not sure if he is the one we need.

Mine came out with Death as a huge forerunner with war, then famine and pestilance last. I'll be happy to play bridge with you and Mary and famine if you want to teach me how to play. I'm leaning toward Obama but reserve the right to change my mind.
