I know exactly what you mean, the expectation of losing it all.

Brings to mind a passage... I think Stephen King got it too. In The Dark Tower, when the four are finally about to be reunited, Eddie approaches the door, where he hopes to find Susannah on the other side:

"Do any of us, except in our dreams, truly expect to be reunited with our hearts' deepest loves, even when they leave us only for minutes, and go on the most mundane of errands? No, not at all. Each time they go from our sight we in our secret hears count them as dead. Having been given so much, we reason, how could we expect not to be brought as low as Lucifer for the staggering presumption of our love? So Eddie didn't expect her to answer until she did..."

Your words bring a tear of happiness to my eyes, and an enormous smile to my face.

that picture said it all....well... all except the words you used to let us in on another one of your romantic moments. This is the true test...living with each other on a daily basis. I am sure Mick will pass with flying colors on this next phase of your lives together.

So is Mike indeed OUT of the house at this point? Or are both men living there? Just curious.
