Tell me all about it, dear...

Oh, bleh. Those who are smug about having been blessed with a near-perfect parenting gig can french kiss my great big bad-mommy ass. You have every right to vent... you've put exponentially more patience, love and hard work into raising your son than most parents could ever conceive of.

Bad mother? Hah. You're about as far from holding that title as anyone I can imagine. I just HOPE that when this kid gets here she and I will have half as good a relationship as you and yours do.

First of all, I did not see one person say you were a bad mom. So stop that. Second, I am constantly reading in your diary the little things about Wolfe that make him stand out from the crowd. His suit, his love of solitude at times and many other things that lead me to believe he is his own person. I also see where at every turn, you encourage him to be his own self. If he wants to march to the tune of a different drummer, you are no only ok with that, but you you urge him to be true to who he is. That, my dear is the mark of a fantastic mom.

? I must have missed the memo about how that last entry made you a "bad mom." All I saw was a parenting job well done in that entry.

And you are?
