Tell me all about it, dear...

I am so looking forward to moving. We will have this huge lawn! I haven't had a yard to plant flower in 20 years! I will be a planting fool. Oh and yes, veggies too!

Did you see that study that said if stay-at-home moms/wives were paid for the work they do, most would earn more than $100,000 a year? I think you probably work your ass off--hardly a jobless bum. Don't mistake wages for value, is all I'm saying...I think people often use that to denigrate incredibly useful work that is still mostly done by women, who deserve some acknowledgement. And I'm sure you know all this stuff already (duh!). I just wanted to say that there is great value in work that doesn't have an immediate monetary reward. (Okay, stepping off the soapbox now...)

the big chain health food store in my town used to have such great samples, and unmanned. I think one of the reasons they quit is because they noticed how I just camped out at the cheese tray. It shouldn't be a big problem as long as you can only eat one and you don't _buy_ the gallon box of freezer-ready cream puffs, right? Teeny tiny portions of pastry crust sound kinda innocuous. Of course, I've never lost weight in my life, and that could be why.

And you are?
