Tell me all about it, dear...

*WHY* can't I be in two places at once??? It's not fair, dammit. I can't even pout because it's my own damned choice.

I'm going to San Diego in June, so, no JC for me.

For Better of for Worse is my absolute favourite (with a "u" because I am Canadian) comic strip that I can't get through the day without reading (well, not entirely true but I do make the effort to read it everyday). I guess I would have to say that I think of Americans like cousins too. I mean, there are obvious differences between provincial boundries - different words used for certain things, different accents. My husband makes fun of me because I call napkins "serviettes" which is a direct result of my parents being from the Ottawa/Quebec region.

I can't go. We will be moving shortly and that's going to set us back about 2 grand. I wish I could. I'd love to see you again. Last year was a blast. But I will hopefully make it next year.

I am thinking about trying to go. I would dearly love to meet your raggedy ass! And San Diego sounds like a marvelous place in which to do it.

My boyfriend is Canadian, and I tell him it's ALMOST like dating someone from another country. ALMOST.

I would so like to attend a JournalCon (and meet the lovely LA, of course), but this is not the year for me.
