I know just how you are feeling . Right before xmas time my grandson came over with his girl friend to meet me(he was giving her a ring for gift so i think she will be family soon) Anyway he is the oldest child of my middle girl and she told me that the girl was shy and quiet ...hahaha...I am loud and not quiet so this was a interesting meeting. She loved me ...I did what i always do when grandson is here...I told tales of him and she was so pleased :-) We hit it off just fine and so will you. I so enjoy reading how you are dealing with older kid that has left home...been there and done that three times with girls

Just be yourself and you can't go wrong. You are witty and funny and yes, snarky. She will love you!!

As a fellow sufferer of Upstate Inferiority Complex, I sympathize with LoL. At least she has the breeding to realize that tamed brows are mandatory: A good arch is everything! If she has to do the First Big Meeting with anyone, she's blessed to meet with someone like you. Besides, you'll put her to ease in no time. Best luck with the momentous occasion! *HUGS!!*

Love the honest and the humor. Your son is really in for it if you & her become good friends. He'll never get away with anything then!

Good luck! Heh. I hope it goes well. (And you made me curious about your choices on all of those "momentous decisions" that you listed. But answering those sorts of decisions in a public diary often causes an unnecessary pandemonium, so I completely understand if you don't share them. :-)
