Tell me all about it, dear...

I do the same thing to watches, small toys etc. I like your explanation much better. Now I could just figure out how to get back to my time...

That is really weird. Last night I was thinking about maple syrup, particularly the process of tapping the trees and boiling down the sap... can't remember why I was thinking about it, but it's weird reading about it in your entry today. Oh, and I do hope you can manage a trip away without the kid! I know too well what it is like to have your marriage strained by having to work around the demands of a high-maintenance kid. It sucks donkey balls, to put it politely.

I have huge suger maples. But I don't know how to tap them, and boiling syrup sounds sticky. If it didn't seem like a pain in the ass I would do it.

Li, the old housemate, could never wear a watch either. Same reasons. They always went too slow or too fast or died. Really weird.
