I used to think I wanted to write YA. That was until I realized that my youth was so atypical that, even though I remember it well enough to write it, I have no experience at all with the "normal" world of teenagers.

I can relate to that "what was I thinking" feeling all too well. Lately, it seems that every little diversion I take down memory lane leaves me wondering if I actually projected myself as unsophisticated and naive as I feel when I recall my past. Truth is - I probably still do. I can't wait to hear how beautiful you feel after your appt!
