Tell me all about it, dear...

Oh, I count on mine to keep me informed. They will generally watch TV in the same room with me, so I've seen all of their faves (except Pulp Fiction, I have no interest in that.) And now they give me books to read. Although my eldest was amazed a few years ago to learn that I'd gone through a heavy Hemingway phase, too, and could hold my own in a discussion with her undergraduate English major self.

Heh Heh! Mine was when my son was listening to some rap with a loop of T-Connection "Funkannection" in it. I started singing along to it. He was floored "How'd you know about that?" "Honey" I said, "I was there the first time in `79". He thinks I'm cool now - again. I was also cool until he was 12. Aren't they great!

Yeah, a few years ago I was really interested in hearing about this new band my oldest stepdaughter likes. Maybe you've heard of them...Aerosmith?

Well, you've seen anime? What're your thoughts on it? I haven't seen any movie reviews on things such as Akira or Princess Mononoke or such. What have you seen? What do you like. Haha, sorry. I'm obsessed with it. Always like to hear what people think. La dee da.

And you are?
