LA, I'm still hoping. Please, please let me know if there is anything I can do. I know too well that scary place with no insurance and the feeling of "I absolutely cannot go to the ER; I could never, ever afford it." Been there a few times. It SUCKS. I know you're probably like me and would rather die than be on Government aid.... but there are some social programs out there to help the insuranceless who have serious medical conditions. Maybe look into it? This isn't your fault. It's not a personal failure if you have to ask for help.
