the girl who does my hair had a bout of bell's palsy last year- she didn't work for a couple of months, being too embarrassed about her appearance, but she's suffered no permanent effects. i hope this leaves your system soon, LA. (has the doc diagnosed you with bell's, and ruled out some weird reaction to the vicodin or any other med you might be taking?)

Ah, SHIT, that sucks the big one. Dunno if it was Bell's or a TIA, but I had a similar fart some months back and it was a big fat smelly hairy BITCH with a yeast infection. I put an ice pack wrapped in a towel and it seemed to help with swelling and droolage - don't know if it made it subside any faster or not, but it might help. I'm thinking of you. If it helps any, Bell's usually goes away pretty quickly, and not-Bell's goes away even more quickly than that.
