Tell me all about it, dear...

Oh the sister thing, sooo true. When I got mono, I suffered with temperatures of 104 being forced to shovel the 4' snow every day during the blizard. When I complained that I was ill I was beaten for trying to get attention like my sister, as she had just recovered from a minor case of the sniffles. No fever, nothing. I came down with chronic fatige syndrome because I went untreated for so long. I would have gotten worse, but, my boyfriend's mom took me to the doctor. Abusive parents suck, and getting over the abuse is hard. I sometimes wonder if I ever will. This weekend, I picked up Alani's Morriset's new cd, her song 'This Grudge' really sums that feeling up for me. The cd is really poignent. 'Spineless' is good too, though not about abuse, more like signs exibited by the abused.

actually, on second thought; 'Spineless' could be a descriptor of symptoms exibited by the abused. Or it could describe behaviors exibited by people who tend to gravitate toward abusers. Though, I am not sure I am compleatly articulating that last part correctally, and now Ive gone off on a rambely senseless tangent here in your comments section. Sorry about that.

Sin eating - I LOVE IT! And you could totally find tons of people willing to go for it - especially if you could find a way to sell it on one of those religion channels.

Thanks! The secret to living with the tiny kitchen is not cooking! If I had to get meals on the table for the whole family every day, it would have worn thin long ago.
