Well, I loved this, of course. My mother was from the Bronx, and when they built an Alexander's in Paramus ONE MILE FROM OUR HOUSE, she was totally in died-and-went-to-heaven mode. When we traveled somewhere and were coming back and passed the mural, that's when we knew we were home. It was a major landmark of my whole life. I still miss the picture. (But the story only got ickier as the years went by. I worked there once, for three days, and Hubs over a Christmas break. **shudder**)
