3 Freaking Days Without Internet! And to be honest? Except for not being able to see what was doing with my pals I didn't miss it a bit. Right now I am sooooo over the whole nasty messy world and its endless bitchtastic carping and trying to make a huge hullabaloo out of utter shite. "OMG! Miley Cyrus didn't say hello to Lindsay Lohan! ENEMIES! Hannah Montana HATES LiLo! Fighting Femmes! OMG! Catastrophe! Stay tuned for our 24/7 coverage of this latest Hollywood Blood Feud!!!!!!" News Flash! Politician gets blow job!!!!!!! For the first time ever in the whole history of the universe a politician solicited a prostitute for a blow job! Quick! Break into the Hannah/LiLo thing with huge smirks of glee! Scandal! Outrage! Endless Sanctimonious Blathering! Let's bird-dog the guy's wife and make her do that stoic politician's wife thing and laugh when she begs the press to leave her family alone! YAY! Hillary cocked a snook at Obama! Feh, I say! Feh! I don't care about any of it and wish it would go away. If I could figure out how to navigate the web without ever bumping into any kind of 'news' I'd be a very happy girl. Okay, happy is a little difficult right now. I'll settle for being a less sad and cranky girl. Really no huge bad things besides our sorry money situation and Alex's continuing assholery and that I can't seem to get on top of this flare. There's good things, honest. Wolf is doing very well at school. He's two more good weeks away from attaining the highest level on the progress chart. With level 4 comes all sorts of perks and goodies and my boy is determined to make it for the first time ever. Wolf is very stoked. Level 4 guys get to go on nifty field trips and are trusted to run errands between classrooms and the office and maybe they get crowns, I don't know all of the perks, but level 4 is way good. Mick is bringing his road bike home today. It's been on the ceiling hooks in his mother's garage for over a year. He'd been using his mountain bike, but the terrain around here just doesn't warrant such a heavy-duty suspension and the big lugged tires. The road bike needs a bit of work and a tune-up and Mick is hoping maybe I can get his wheels in shape. Bike season is upon us and my guy is most anxious to do some long-distance pedaling to burn off some of that lasagna. So tomorrow Princess Fix-it will see about tuning Mick's bicycle. Another notch on my sparkly tool belt, eh? The snowdrops are up and the tips of the purple crocus are peeping through the mulch, a sure sign of spring even if it did snow a little last night. See? Good things.
