Hey Kids! It's another sing-along! The headache's back The pain's so bad Look out world, Hey nah, hey nah With apologies to that superlative girl group, The Angels. In other news, a vehicle was acquired today. The cost was minimal, the delight maximal. An elderly, but amazingly well maintained Jeep Cherokee. A hand-me-down of sorts from SIL. Yeah, it's got a zillion miles and the jeep is a little eccentric (software problems, mostly), but damn! This is a nice ride. Aside from my hot rod my new jeep has more toys and doodads than any other vehicle I've owned. And since it was primarily my meticulous BIL's vehicle, it's clean as a whistle. I have wheels again, baby! The jeep wasn't the only largesse bestowed upon me today, SIL gifted me with her orchids. You have to understand what a huge deal this is. She loves her orchids. That she trusts me with their care and continued well-being is almost on par with her letting me adopt her children. When she she left this afternoon she hugged me fierce and as much told me that no matter how things shake out between me and her brother she and I will always be 'family'. I am blessed.
