I don't know what the deal is with my comments. I'm hoping a new entry will revive them. I'm trying to be philosophical about it, don't know what's up with Mercury but I seem to be having my own little retro. Along with the comments, I couldn't access my email box and every time I picked up the phone yesterday it hung up. The Techno Gods have put me in isolation for crimes unknown. My live-and-let-live attitude with the local fauna has been chucked for a more Republican stance. I'm gonna KILL the groundhog. No Hav-a-heart traps. No relocation programs. Write a memo to Downing Street, LA is going to war with the rodent and I will not be stopped. Do you know what that Osama bin Woodchuck did? It ate my veggie patch bare to the ground. Radishes, cukes, broccoli, pumpkins, all gone, gone, gone. In one night. And unlike the CIA, FBI, the Joint Chiefs and the entire Marine Corps, I know where my enemy is. The sunavabitch lives under the outhouse. Oh sure, it has a network of tunnels and escape routes, hell it probably has several weapons caches and a small fortune in gold bullion stashed in there too. Doesn't matter. I will not rest until that hairy garden chomping mofo is deader than Dick Cheney's conscience. Can this be true? LA the hippie, Ms Audubon, feeder of whitetail and protector of wetlands is plotting murder? You bet your ass it is. I'm gonna kill that thing and nail its hide to my garden shed door. You just watch me. Then I'm going to erect such a badass fence around my veggie patch it'll make Gitmo look like Disneyland. Vengeance is mine, ~LA the Warrior
